Field Application Scientist

Joseph is a Field Application Scientist for MaxCyte dedicated to the southern New England and New York region with over 12 years of cell culture experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Duke University, where he researched neurodegeneration using iPSC-derived cells and animal models. Prior to working at MaxCyte, Joseph served as a Senior Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he led new product innovation for bioproduction and cell/gene therapy workflows. Based in Buffalo, NY, Joseph is passionate about the Bills and, more importantly, aiding in the advancement of therapeutic research from lab to clinic.

Emily Cox

Emily Cox, MBA

Business Development Manager
MaxCyte, Inc.

Emily Cox is the Business Development Manager at Maxcyte dedicated to the New England region and New York. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Worcester State and a Master of Business from Southern New Hampshire University. With an extensive background spanning 9 years in the cell and gene therapy, as well as biologics space, Emily has honed her skills through roles at Unchained Labs, Opentrons Labworks, and Harvard Bioscience. Situated just outside of Boston, Emily collaborates with Joe to provide exceptional support to customers in the Boston area, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York.
